Rowan is a Founding Director of Architecture Initiative working across design, job-running, and practice management for a complex portfolio of projects. He is also responsible for the effective operation of the studio, BIM implementation as well as staff welfare and professional development.
Keen to support the profession, He mentors younger practitioners through the RIBA / Construction Industry Council’s FLUID Diversity Mentoring Programme.
Rowan gained significant experience in both the design and delivery of major education and residential projects as a Project Architect at GHM Rock Townsend Architects, working with multiple stakeholders, undertaking detailed consultation and ensuring that all parties were represented in the design process. Notable projects completed there include the University of Westminster’s Marylebone campus, St Michael’s Primary School in Enfield and Culloden Primary School in East London.
